Timing is everything. I decided to become a freelancer—in large part—to be able to work while traveling the world. I had toyed with the idea for a few years. I finally pulled the trigger and in a strange twist of fate, half of the world’s population was under some form of lockdown months after I decided to make that change. I’m not sure when our world will go back to normal, but I know I would not want to work any other way.
