I work mainly from English into French, with selected French-to-English projects when the subject and style are a good fit.
My work ranges from books and editorial content to websites, apps and language review. Whatever the format, the aim is the same: accurate language that sounds natural to the people actually reading it.
Translation & Adaptation
Books, editorial content and other material where voice matters as much as accuracy.
I work on children’s books, fiction and nonfiction, paying particular attention to tone, dialogue, rhythm, terminology and consistency across longer texts.
The goal is not to reproduce English sentence structures in French. It is to preserve what the original is doing while making the result feel as though it belongs in French.

Localization & Language QA
French localization for websites, apps and digital products, whether the content is being translated from scratch or already exists in French.
I review interface copy, product content and marketing material for terminology, consistency, tone, cultural fit and context — including awkward literal translations, AI-generated wording and text that may be technically correct but simply does not sound natural.
You already have a French version. I make sure it actually reads like French.
Editing & Translation Review
Sometimes a translation is broadly correct but still needs work.
I review existing French content for accuracy, fluency, consistency and style, rewriting where necessary rather than limiting the process to grammar and typos.
I also flag unclear source passages, factual inconsistencies, terminology problems and other issues I notice along the way. This can range from a targeted language audit to a complete editorial review.
Interpreting
Remote French–English consecutive interpreting for interviews, meetings, research calls and one-to-one conversations.
For assignments involving specialist subject matter, I prepare terminology beforehand so the conversation itself can remain as natural and unobtrusive as possible.
How I work
How I work
I work independently and communicate directly with my clients. On longer projects, I establish terminology and style early, ask questions when something in the source is unclear, and stay involved through revisions rather than treating delivery as the end of the job.
For selected literary and children’s projects, and with the client’s agreement, I also work with my sister as a second French reader.
Whether the project lasts a few hours or several months, you deal with me directly from beginning to end.
